We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Calhoun County, Illinois. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position.
