Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Jere, Borno State. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience The role involves: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
