Vertical milling machine operator — Gaston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Gaston County, North Carolina. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
