Road roller operator — Iron County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Iron County, Michigan. You will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. Requirements: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Part-time with flexible hours.
