Gas commissioning technician — Wright County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Wright County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Part-time with flexible hours.
