Escalator technician — Cherokee County

Join our team: we are hiring an escalator technician in Cherokee County, Texas. The job is on a high-rise construction site. Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
