Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Moore County, Texas. You will work on a commercial construction site. The role involves raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
