Immediate opening: sewing machine operator (Arkansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Cleburne County, Arkansas. On a typical shift you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
