Vertical milling machine operator • Pike County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Pike County, Illinois. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Full-time, day shift.
