Immediate opening: we are hiring an electrical technician in Clay County, Iowa. The job is at a busy electrical contractor. What we are looking for: • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds The role involves: • Test insulation resistance with a megger • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
