Port container crane operator wanted in Alamance County

Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Alamance County, North Carolina. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging You will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
