Blocklayer — Cherokee County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Cherokee County, North Carolina. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
