Shakeout operator • Clinton County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Clinton County, Missouri. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $190 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
