Vacancy available: hydraulic crane operator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Giles County, Virginia. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
