Kitchen steward — Ouachita Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a catering unit. You should have: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Punctual, reliable and hard-working Day-to-day duties: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
