Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Perry County, Pennsylvania. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens On a typical shift you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; score the top of loaves before baking. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
