Great opportunity: precision welder (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Piatt County, Illinois. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
