Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. You will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 6+ years on the tools preferred.
