Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Clay County, Kansas. You will be based in a tool room. On the job you will handle: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Six days a week, one day off.
