Steam press operator — Elk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Elk County, Kansas. You will work at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Give each garment a final press before packing Rotating shifts.
