Foundry operative wanted in Amador County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Amador County, California. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day to day you will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
