Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in San Patricio County, Texas. The role involves: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Requirements: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
