Immediate opening: shuttering charge hand (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Moultrie County, Illinois. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Part-time with flexible hours.
