Commercial painter — Adair County

Join our team: we are hiring a commercial painter in Adair County, Iowa. The job is in a paint and spray workshop. On a typical shift you will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; measure up and work out paint and material quantities. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
