Immediate opening: steam press operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Charlton County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Six days a week, one day off.
