Pipe TIG welder — Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Jefferson County, Oregon. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
