Immediate opening: motor grader operator (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Fulton County, Indiana. The job is at a plant hire yard. You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Six days a week, one day off. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
