Mining dozer operator — Nelson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Nelson County, Virginia. The job is at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
