Head butcher — Ekiti East

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Ekiti East, Ekiti State. The job is in a supermarket meat department. On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Six days a week, one day off.
