Join our team: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Sumter County, Alabama. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Your main tasks: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
