What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Six days a week, one day off.
