You should have: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Day-to-day duties: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Rotating shifts.
