Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Adams County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Your main tasks: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
