Turning centre operator — El Paso County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in El Paso County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
