Dough maker — Orleans Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dough maker in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves load and unload the deck oven with a peel; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer.
