Precision welder — Santa Barbara County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Santa Barbara County, California. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
