The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 5+ years on the tools preferred.
