Brickwork mason — Simpson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Simpson County, Mississippi. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
