Blocklayer — Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
