Concrete labourer — Sullivan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Sullivan County, New Hampshire. Day to day you will carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
