Restoration bricklayer • Pecos County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Pecos County, Texas. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently On a typical shift you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters.
