Vacancy available: blocklayer (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Jackson County, Georgia. You will be based at a residential building site. Day to day you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
