Nursery worker — Eddy County

Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Eddy County, New Mexico. The job is at a private estate garden. Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
