Foundry labourer — Cass County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Cass County, Indiana. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Full-time, day shift.
