We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Calvert County, Maryland. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Part-time with flexible hours.
