Restoration bricklayer — Tallahatchie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
