Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £2,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts.
