Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Red Willow County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
