Now hiring: construction labourer (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a construction labourer in Bosque County, Texas. You will be based on a residential housing site. You will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
