Now hiring: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Franklin County, Ohio. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing What we are looking for: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
